What a night for Nebraska basketball. After defeating Iowa 93-90 in double-overtime, the Huskers are now 3-0 to start conference play. It's worth noting that this is only the seventh time Nebraska has started 3-0 in conference play since WWII. Let that sink in for a minute.

Since it was well after midnight by the time quotes were transcribed and game recaps were filed, I thought we could spend a little time reviewing all you may have missed. No better way to start a Friday, right?

>> Jacob Padilla spent most of the second overtime saying he had no idea what he was going to write about the matchup. It really was that wild of a game. Padilla knew though, especially after the press conference, that it was all about the fact that Nebraska survived to win.

>> The photos from Aaron Babcock and Eric Francis are always stunning. Nebraska's matchup with Iowa was no exception.

>> We had some immediate reactions after the game, which we shared notebook-style on Hail Varsity Premium.

>> Prefer to read just a bit from the coaches and players following the win? We always have you covered in They Said It.

>> Get an in-depth look at the Huskers win with Padilla's Run It Back on Hail Varsity Premium.

It feels like we may still be recovering from the late night, but it's hard not to still be pumped up after a night like that. Now it's on to the next, which is Northwestern on Sunday at 1:15 p.m. CT. Get excited, Husker fans.

The Grab Bag

>> In case you missed it, Nebraska secured its 15th commit of the 2017 recruiting class Thursday night. RB Jaylin Bradley of Bellevue West announced the news on Twitter.

>> Western Michigan's P.J. Fleck looks to be headed to Minnesota. Fleck led Western Michigan to an undefeated season before losing to Wisconsin in the Cotton Bowl.

>> If you want to get to know Fleck a little better, here's a rundown.

>> Another breakdown of the financial situation surrounding college football from Bloomberg. This one is about the schools that are losing money because of the sport but can't seem to quit it.

Today's Song of the Day

The song that played right after Nebraska defeated Iowa? Here you go.
