It was a great atmosphere at Haymarket Park for Nebraska baseball on Friday night. Well, at least the start of the night was. While it started strong, Nebraska ultimately fell 15-6 to Arizona State.

After a disappointing weekend at Northwestern, Nebraska (24-18, 13-8 Big Ten) returns home to face Arizona State (34-12, 14-10 Pac-12), one of the best opponents the Huskers have seen all season. The Sun Devils may have dropped a few recently, but they started their season with a 21-0 record.
Two Nebraska guards, Amir Harris and Karrington Davis, have both entered their names into the transfer portal, sources confirmed to Hail Varsity.

There was Big Ten baseball on Monday. And it resulted in Northwestern’s head coach being ejected and Nebraska walking away with a 6-4 victory.
The Huskers continued to struggle on Sunday and Northwestern won Game 2 convincingly by a score of 10-2.
Nebraska traveled to Northwestern in hopes of finding life in the bats again. Unfortunately, Game 1 did not provide the spark the team was looking for in the 4-2 loss.
Brady Heiman is officially in the transfer portal, a source confirmed to Hail Varsity Thursday, marking the third player to announce their intention to leave since Nebraska parted ways with Tim Miles.
Nebraska student-athletes have entered the homestretch of the school year. The Huskers will finish up finals this week, which is exciting for most.
