Nebraska baseball returned home to Haymarket Park for a weekend series with Michigan. The Huskers took the series opener, 1-0, in front of 5,434 fans.
Pitcher Cade Povich started and earned the win, matching his career high by going 7.0 innings. That included an immaculate inning to start the game, throwing nine pitches for three strikeouts in the first inning.
