Nebraska senior left-handed pitcher Nate Fisher earned Big Ten Co-Pitcher-of the-Week on Monday after his impressive outing against No. 21 Baylor on Saturday.

Fisher threw for a career-high 8.0 no-hit innings in his fourth start of the season. He recorded six strikeouts along the way and one walk. Fisher was also perfect through 5.1 innings against Baylor before allowing his only walk of the game.
Baylor recorded its first hit of Saturday’s matchup in the bottom of the ninth with two outs after Fisher was taken out. It was Nebraska’s first combined one-hit game since March 6, 2013 against Northern Colorado.
Additionally, Fisher surpassed 100.0 career innings pitched at Nebraska.
