Huskers to Host Boston College in Big Ten/ACC Challenge

June 08, 2017

The Eagles are coming to Lincoln.

Nebraska and Boston College will meet for the first time on the hardwood this November as part of the 2017 Big Ten/ACC Challenge. ESPN announced all 14 matchups in the annual series on Thursday.

Boston College is coming off a 9-23 season in 2016-17, but returns a pair of potent guards in Jerome Robertson (18.7 ppg) and Ky Bowman (14.3 ppg).

Nebraska is 3-3 all-time in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge and 3-2 under Coach Tim Miles. The Huskers have recorded wins over Wake Forest (2012), Miami (2013) and Florida State (2014) in the Challenge, but are coming off back-to-back losses in the series to Clemson (2015) and Miami (2016).

Time, date and television information for the game will be released at a later date.

The Huskers will also face St. John’s in nonconference play on Nov. 16 as part of the Gavitt Tipoff Games.
