Nebraska will begin perhaps its most anticipated season ever unranked.
The preseason AP Top 25 came out Monday morning — faulty, one might add; a great start to the season for website coders everywhere — and the Huskers found themselves behind 29 other programs.
Nebraska has only been ranked twice in a preseason poll in program history, but many thought it had a shot this time around. With each of last season's top four scorers returning (guard Glynn Watson Jr., guard James Palmer Jr., forward Isaac Copeland, forward Isaiah Roby) to a team that won 22 games last season, the Huskers are expected to be dancing when the NCAA Tournament rolls around in March.
