Nebraska senior guard Tai Webster was named second-team All-District 7 by the National Association of Basketball Coaches on Wednesday. Dictrict 7 encompasses the Big Ten region.
This is Webster’s second all-district honor. He was named first-team All-District by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association earlier in March. He also earned All-Big Ten honors by the conference media and coaches.
In his final season with Nebraska, Webster averaged a team-high 17 points per game. He also recorded 5,1 rebounds, 4 assists and 1.4 steals per game and was one of four players in Nebraska history to score 500 points and record 100 assists in a season.
Webster was a four-year letterwinner at Nebraska, finishing his career 26th on the career scoring lists with 1,116 points. He also totaled 421 rebounds, 228 assists and 133 steals in his 127 career appearances.
