Nebraska basketball is preparing to open its season on Wednesday morning against McNeese State. The Huskers are also preparing to face Nevada and North Dakota State as part of the Golden Window Classic in Lincoln, too.

Coach Fred Hoiberg met with the media on Tuesday in preparation of the season. He shared that he doesn’t have his starting five yet, but he is down to six players. Those players are Teddy Allen, Lat Mayen, Thor Thorbjarnarson, Yvan Ouedraogo, Delano Banton and Trey McGowens.

He also added that Nebraska will test for COVID-19 at 7 p.m. CT Tuesday night and will have the results by Wednesday morning.
