“Top to bottom, it’s the best conference in the country,” Coach Fred Hoiberg said about the Big Ten Conference on Monday. “There’s no doubt about it.”
The Huskers open conference play on Tuesday at Wisconsin before returning home to face Michigan on Christmas Day. Hoiberg called it a “unique, strange time” but said that his players are excited for the opportunity to play on Christmas since that’s traditionally reserved for mostly professional games.
