Nebraska doesn’t have much time to prepare and get back on track prior to a matchup with Michigan State on Saturday, especially after a 20-day pause. Coach Fred Hoiberg spoke with the media on Tuesday about the preparation, which he acknowledged is tough on everyone involved.
“Obviously it’s not ideal, but it hasn’t been ideal for a lot of people this year,” he said.
Hoiberg also spoke about his battle with COVID-19, which he said was a difficult one.
“The virus hit me hard,” he said. “I got a little scared to be honest with you.”
