Junior forward Derrick Walker has completed his NCAA-mandated suspension and will make his Husker debut on Tuesday against Purdue. Coach Fred Hoiberg confirmed Walker’s availability during a Zoom call on Monday.
Walker was suspended for a rules violation during his time at Tennessee. His original suspension was 16 games, but it was later reduced to 14. As for how much Walker will play, Hoiberg said it will depend on how he’s feeling. Since he hasn’t played a game in awhile. Hoiberg doesn’t want to play him too long if he gets tired.
