Fred Hoiberg sounded frustrated following Nebraska’s 79-61 loss to Minnesota. He noted turnovers and the failure to make simple plays as a part of the Huskers’ problems, as well as free-throw shooting. Not doing the little things well is costing Nebraska.
“It’s just mindless, mental mistakes that we have have to correct,” Hoiberg said.
The Huskers are now required to take a mandatory day off on Tuesday, per Big Ten Conference rules. The team’s first on-court work for the Wisconsin matchup on Wednesday will come during the pre-game shoot around.
