Nebraska basketball coach Tim Miles met with the media Monday morning after the Huskers started the season 2-0. Nebraska defeated Mississippi Valley State 106-37 on Tuesday, Nov. 6 and Southeastern Louisiana 87-35 on Sunday, Nov. 11.
The Huskers are now preparing to face Seton Hall. The competition from Nebraska's first two opponents to Seton Hall is significant, which Miles acknowledged.
"It's a big jump," Miles said. "They're a good team."
Miles also said he thinks Seton Hall is a tough-minded team and very athletic. He also likes the Pirates' length and athleticism inside. He feels Nebraska will find out exactly who they are as a team against Seton Hall.
"Should be a great game on Wednesday," Miles said.
Glynn Watson Jr. has also been stepping up, and that's affecting the team positively as a result.
"Glynn's always been there," Miles said. "He's just at a point where he's more confident in expressing himself."
Nebraska and Seton Hall tip off Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. CT at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
