Nebraska basketball coach Tim Miles met with the media Monday morning as the team begins practice this week.
"We're fired up to get going and start the season," Miles said.
Miles also spoke about the leaders on Nebraska's team and how it will likely be a collaborative effort between players. He specifically mentioned Glynn Watson Jr., saying he "gets it." Watson texted Miled this summer and asked him how he could help “take Nebraska basketball to places it’s never been.”
“No one deserves it more than him," Miles said.
