WATCH: Tim Miles on Nebraska’s Season, Player Improvements and More

October 29, 2018

Nebraska basketball coach Tim Miles met with the media Monday morning as the Huskers get ready to kick off the season.

Miles joked that the questions needed to start right away on Monday because "things could get wacky." Needless to say, Miles said he's ready to get to Nebraska's exhibitioon game with Wayne State College on Thursday.

As for player notes, Miles said that Thomas Allen Jr. is going to be Nebraska's fifth starter to open the season. He also said James Palmer Jr.'s shooting has improved and that "Isaac Copeland is playing better than I've ever seen him play."

Nebraska and Wayne State tip off Thursday at 7 p.m. CT at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
