Nebraska received its ninth commitment of the 2018 class Tuesday night. The latest commitment comes from 2018 Hoover High School kicker Barret Pickering. The Birmingham, Alabama, native announced his commitment via Twitter.

In addition to Nebraska, Pickering also held an offer from Vanderbilt. He is considered the second best kicker in the country for the 2018 class by Kohl’s Kicking Camps. Nebraska offered Pickering on April 14.
