Nebraska is continuing to recruit Iowa hard. The Huskers and Hawkeyes engage in a battle yearly on the football field but it wasn’t until recently that Nebraska took the fight to them this much on the recruiting trail. There were several Iowa natives in Lincoln over the weekend to see a night game at Memorial Stadium. They were treated to a 44-8 victory by the Huskers over Northern Illinois.
Henry Lutovsky, a 6-foot-6, 325-pound offensive lineman from Mount Pleasant, Iowa, was in town with his family. Lutovsky has already been to Lincoln in the last year having come out for the Big Red BBQ last June. I was able to catch up with him to get his thoughts on the game, being peer recruited, what he’s looking for in a school and more.
