Another official visitor has been confirmed by Hail Varsity for this weekend’s matchup with Northern Illinois.
We reported over the summer that Tuli Tuipulotu, a 3-star (HV Rating: 87.0) defensive end would be taking a trip to Lincoln for the Northern Illinois game. Tuipulotu has confirmed with Hail Varsity that he has locked in his trip this weekend.
The defensive end is one of many California defensive players that Nebraska is focusing on this recruiting cycle. He is not rated the highest but watching his film you can see a long, athletic defender. Tuipulotu has good size (6-3, 254) to continue adding weight to play with his hand in the dirt at the collegiate level.

The Lawndale High School standout just missed the cut on the latest Greg’s Guys list. He was productive as a junior with 95 total tackles, 24 tackles for loss and nine sacks. The Huskers would love to continue adding long athletic prospects to its defensive line. Nebraska could be looking to knock the visit out of the park in hopes of getting Tuipulotu to shut his recruitment down soon.
Right now the only defensive lineman in Nebraska’s 2020 class is defensive tackle Nash Hutmacher. The Huskers will likely take at least two more linemen in the class.
Tuipulotu joins Arizona defensive lineman Regen Terry as official visitors for this weekend. There will be more visitors confirmed throughout the week. Keep it locked to Hail Varsity for the latest.
Greg is the Recruiting Analyst for Hail Varsity and has covered Husker athletics since 2013. He has always had a passion for sports while growing up in the Chicago area. As he got older and had to hang up his cleats and sneakers, he realized his passion for sports went beyond just watching and attending games. He has covered many events from the Rose Bowl to championship boxing matches. If he’s not talking sports, he’s hovering over his grill. He is married to an amazing woman, Kim, and they have a dog that barks when Greg yells at the TV during games.
