Nebraska just picked up its second commitment of the day.
On Sunday night, Hutchinson Community College 3-star (HV Rating: 85.3) outside linebacker Niko Cooper committed to the Huskers. He announced his decision on Twitter.

The defender (6-5, 220) was in Lincoln this weekend for an official visit. He and inside linebacker Keyshawn Greene were the two official visitors this weekend. Each committed to the Huskers on Sunday. The pass rusher from Hutchinson Community College had been an intriguing option for the Huskers. JUCO recruiting coordinator Ryan Held went down to see him last Saturday then came back on Sunday to show how much the Huskers wanted him to visit. That persistence paid off and after a great official visit, Cooper is part of the 2020 recruiting class.
Cooper is a long, lean prospect that fits the mold of what defensive coordinator Erik Chinander is looking for at outside linebacker. On a good defense at Hutchinson, he had 24 tackles including nine for loss. He also forced two fumbles.

Cooper is the 18th known commitment of the 2020 class for the Huskers. He is the second outside linebacker joining junior college prospect Junior Aho in the class. Cooper has three years to play three seasons. He graduates in May.
