3-Star Lineman Alex Harrison Sets Official Visit to Nebraska

September 09, 2019

Hail Varsity has learned that 3-star (HV Rating: 85.3) lineman Alex Harrison‍ will be taking an official visit for the Northwestern game on Oct. 5. The Viewmont High School standout stands at 6-foot-4 and 310 pounds.

There is an interesting wrinkle in the recruitment of the Utah native. The Huskers are the only school recruiting Harrison to play defensive line. The is setting up to be like the recruitment of current Nebraska offensive lineman Brant Banks, who the Huskers were recruiting to play defensive line. Yet every other school recruiting Banks liked him on the offensive line. It should be noted that Banks has now moved to offensive line.

Harrison also told Hail Varsity that he has plans for his other four official visits. He plans to visit Arizona State when they play USC on Nov. 9 and Utah on Dec. 19.  Harrison also intends to visit USC and Oregon this season.

The defender is the first projected official visitor for the matchup with Northwestern. Stay tuned to Hail Varsity for the latest recruiting updates.
