The Florida native took an official visit to Nebraska back in June. He was very complimentary of his time in Lincoln when he caught up with Hail Varsity afterward.
“It was amazing,” he said at the time. “The stadium and the campus is above and beyond. The facilities stood out the most from the weight room to the locker room.”

After that official visit, Scott III said that he was most looking for a big-time game atmosphere and a genuine coaching staff. As a junior, Scott III racked up 1,220 yards and 17 touchdowns in eight games. In addition to Nebraska, Scott III took an official visit to Georgia Tech back in May.
The Spruce Creek High School star had almost 30 scholarship offers to his name. He is the second running back in the recruiting class, joining Oklahoma running back Sevion Morrison. Scott III is the 10th known commit for the 2020 recruiting class.

Greg is the Recruiting Analyst for Hail Varsity and has covered Husker athletics since 2013. He has always had a passion for sports while growing up in the Chicago area. As he got older and had to hang up his cleats and sneakers, he realized his passion for sports went beyond just watching and attending games. He has covered many events from the Rose Bowl to championship boxing matches. If he’s not talking sports, he’s hovering over his grill. He is married to an amazing woman, Kim, and they have a dog that barks when Greg yells at the TV during games.
