The Huskers got some good news to start the new year.
On Thursday evening, there was a new addition to the 2021 recruiting class. Randolph Kpai, a 4-star (HV Rating: 91.8) linebacker announced he has committed to the Huskers. He made things public on Twitter.
I like to thank everyone who have given me a chance to continue my education and do what I love at the next level. With that being said, I’m happy to announce that I’ll be attending the University of Nebraska @coach_frost @BarrettRuud @CoachChinander @SFW_Football pic.twitter.com/C3GAmnTscG

The Sioux Falls, South Dakota, native attends Washington, the same high school that produced Matt and Will Farniok. The Huskers were on him early and offered him last March when he attended a Junior Day. Kpai (6-3, 185) also attended the spring game and was back in Lincoln during the regular season too. He was in Lincoln for the game against Northwestern. After seeing that game in person he told Hail Varsity that he had a great time and it was great meeting and talking with the Husker coaches and staff again.

The class of 2021 is strong within the 500-mile radius. Picking up another good player from the region for 2021 continues the hot start the Huskers have been on in this cycle already.
The newest Huskers commit holds eight scholarship offers. His offer sheet continued to expand as his most recent offer was Oregon. Kpai’s commitment gives Nebraska four known commitments in the 2021 recruiting cycle.

As he got older and had to hang up his cleats and sneakers, he realized his passion for sports went beyond just watching and attending games. He has covered many events from the Rose Bowl to championship boxing matches. If he’s not talking sports, he’s hovering over his grill. He is married to an amazing woman, Kim, and they have a dog that barks when Greg yells at the TV during games.
