The Huskers pulled a big-time linebacker from Florida.
That position is one of the main focuses for the 2020 recruiting class for Nebraska. The group got a major boost when 4-star (HV Rating: 92.3) inside linebacker Keyshawn Greene committed to Nebraska. He made his announcement on Twitter as he was finishing his official visit.

Greene, a former Florida State commit, was a player that Nebraska had been working on hard behind the scenes. There was a question on if the staff could get him to Lincoln for an official visit this weekend, but the coaches convinced him to do so and walked away with his commitment. There is a big need for more speed in the inside linebacker group. Greene fits the bill. Standing at 6-foot-3, 200-pounds, he ran a verified 4.49 40-yard dash at Nike’s The Opening last February.

Greene is the 17th known commitment for the class of 2020. He is the fifth Florida native to join the class as well. He also held scholarship offers from Florida State, Miami, Florida and more.
He is a summer enrollee.
