The Huskers just landed a major target.
On Saturday, Turner Corcoran, a 4-star (HV Rating: 94.1) offensive tackle, from Lawrence, Kansas, committed to Nebraska. The lineman held the No. 1 spot on each Greg’s Guys list for the 2020 class and was likely the top overall target on the board for the Nebraska coaching staff.

Nebraska picked up the commitment during Corcoran’s visit to Lincoln for the spring game. That visit marked the 10thtrip taken by him to Nebraska since coach Frost took over the program. He is the third commitment in the class, joining Athens, Alabama, quarterback Logan Smothers and Omaha, Nebraska, wide receiver Zavier Betts.
Corcoran was on campus most recently just last month, visiting for a practice. After that visit he told Hail Varsity that he felt like a part of the Nebraska family and that feeling had been there since day one. He has especially formed a tight relationship with offensive line coach Greg Austin and enjoys his coaching style.
“It’s great,” Corcoran said last month. “He focuses a lot on technique and how it doesn’t matter if you won the rep somewhere down the road you won’t win it because you need a good technique to win big reps. Our relationship is pretty strong and he’s been great to me over the last year that they’ve been recruiting me.”
There will be more to come on this huge commitment for Nebraska. In the meantime, check out highlights from Corcoran’s junior year below.
