Nebraska just added a versatile playmaker to its defense.
3-star athlete Cam Taylor from Montgomery, Alabama has decided to join the Huskers 2018 recruiting class. He tipped his hand a bit when he named Nebraska and Missouri his leaders down the stretch of his recruitment, only to cancel his trip to Columbia. Taylor had an announcement at his school.

Taylor did take a few official visits in January to Auburn, Troy and Nebraska. The Huskers really sold Taylor on the possibility of playing cornerback in Erik Chinander’s defense. Though Taylor played a lot of quarterback in high school, he is said to favor the defensive side of the ball in college as he likes to mix it up and hit people.
Auburn tried to make things interesting here at the end. The home-state school kept their interest alive in Taylor but never quite came through with the big offer. Taylor had almost 20 offers.
