As we get closer to June more and more players are confirming their intentions to visit Nebraska this summer. The Huskers will have a full slate of camps during the month. There is also a new rule that prospects can visit campus and work out privately for one hour with the coaches. Also, official visits will be back. Class of 2022 prospects will make their way to Lincoln. They’ll have the red carpet rolled out for them as they close in on decisions.
A trio of prospects confirmed to me this week that they will be on campus in June for various reasons.
Iโve been impressed with Papillion-La Vista 2022 slot receiver Tyson Money since seeing him play in person last season. Standing at 5-foot-10, 165 pounds, heโs lighting quick and is a touchdown waiting to happen. Money informed me that he will be taking part in Nebraskaโs Friday Night Lights camp on June 18th. With a strong showing this summer I think Money can really improve his stock in the region.

Another area player that will be in Lincoln next month. Council Bluffs 2022 tight end Brayden Loftin. I spent a lot of time around that team last season tracking Thomas Fidone. I was impressed with Loftin (6-4, 210) too. He recently picked up an offer from Miami (OH) and could be poised for a breakout summer. Loftin told me that he will be in Lincoln on June 4 for a private workout with the Nebraska staff.
A name to know in Nebraska this summer is 2022 athlete Vince Genatone. The North Platte standout has put up some impressive track numbers this summer. Thatโs landed him on some college radars. He will also be doing a private workout on June 11 for the Huskers next month. He will have a busy June when he also visits Cal, Boise State, Washington State and others.

When thinking through top players in Lincoln for the class of 2022 you wonโt have many names ahead of Lincoln Southeast athlete Jake Appleget. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound athlete will benefit in a big way from having a full camp season this summer. Heโs going to hit numerous camps in the summer but he will also workout privately for the Huskers. Appleget is probably on the borderline of receiving a Husker offer. The question is what is his best position at the college level?
These next few weeks will be a busy time for the Huskers. Prospects will be coming through Lincoln on a regular basis for visits, camps and workout. Keep it locked on Hail Varsity to stay up to date with the latest.
