Nebraska went on the road for its game against Oregon, but just because they were not home to host any visitors doesn’t mean there isn’t recruiting news to keep an eye on.
Several of Nebraska’s top targets in both the 2018 and 2019 class were in Columbus this weekend to see Ohio State take on Oklahoma in a top-5 showdown. Five-star defensive end/outside linebacker Micah Parsons was the headliner of the group and was really showed a great time if Twitter is any indication.

Think Micah Parsons was excited to meet Ohio State legend Eddie George? pic.twitter.com/wfvNxQeoKn

Parsons still consistently mentions Nebraska as the only other school who will for sure get a visit; so still expect to see him on campus with his parents for the Wisconsin game.
Another Nebraska target for 2018 that was in Columbus was 4-star defensive back Christian Tutt. The defender from Georgia has insisted that he has no favorites (despite a widespread belief that he will end up a Husker) and he will be taking all of his visits. He is still scheduled to visit Nebraska with his family for the Rutgers game.
The biggest news with current Husker commits going on visits was that Brendan Radley-Hiles took a trip to Clemson with a couple of his IMG teammates. Clemson is a red-hot program right now so we can assume the defensive back was impressed by what he saw.

One quick sidenote, the guy on the right of Bookie is #1 player in the nation Xavier Thomas who attends IMG and looks like he plays in the NFL right now. Coming into the weekend, Clemson was thought to be a non-factor in Bookie’s recruitment and I haven’t heard enough to move me off that thought.
That still doesn’t make it any less weird to see him in another team’s colors.
Before Nebraska’s game on Saturday, the coaching staff stopped by to see the top-rated athlete in the nation, Talanoa Hufanga, play. Hufanga attends high school in Corvalis, Oregon, and his family knows Coach Riley since his brother played for him at Oregon State.
Hufanga did not disappoint and I’m told that some Husker fans made the drive as well to show support.
With @HuskerFBNation looking on…@CVRaiderFB 5* recruit Talanoa Hufanga looked like an #opreps human cheat code en route to 51-0 win. pic.twitter.com/9sWZQcQf2J

In other commit news, kicker Barret Pickering from Hoover, Alabama, made a 22-yard field goal in his team’s game.

Also, 4-star wide receiver Joshua Moore returned another punt for a touchdown. If he keeps this up we will have to start listing him as a wide receiver/punt returner. The Yoakum, Texas, product continues to excel in all phases of the game this season.
This dude @_TheJoshuaMoore did it again.
