The Huskers have their 10th commitment for the 2022 recruiting class.
Brodie Tagaloa (6-4, 260) announced his commitment to Nebraska on Sunday. Tagaloa made the decision public on Twitter.

Tagaloa may be a new name to Husker fans that follow recruiting, but the Huskers have been in communication with him for months. In fact, the team offered him a scholarship back in May. He emerged as a priority recruit early last week when defensive line coach Tony Tuioti went to visit him for an in-home visit. The Huskers also visited the California native during the first bye week of the season.
The latest Husker commit had nine scholarship offers, including Cal, Arizona State and Oregon State. Nebraska’s staff recruited him to play defensive line but there are several schools that saw him as a tight end in college. Tagaloa is now the only defensive lineman in the 2022 class for the Huskers. He replaces Florida defensive lineman Hayden Schwartz who decommitted from Nebraska during the season.

The Huskers hosted a solid official visit weekend this past weekend. The visitors included Tagaloa and featured all defensive players. Nebraska is looking to pick up some recruiting momentum as we race toward the early signing period. Picking up a commitment from the first visit weekend is a good start.
Nebraska will look to add three or four more high school prospects to this class. There will be a lot of attention placed on the transfer portal for more immediate help in the 2022 season.
