Nebraska’s 2018 recruiting class lost a member on Saturday as St. Louis wide receiver Cameron Brown decommited.
Brown is a 3-star recruit with an 86.5 rating by the Hail Varsity composite. He verbally committed to Nebraska on May 7. Brown recently attended a camp at Ohio State, earning a scholarship offer on Friday.
Lest you think a Buckeye barge-in is the reason for Brown’s decommitment, however . . .
Brown’s change of heart means the Huskers now have 10 verbal commitments for the 2018 class.
Brandon is the Managing Editor for Hail Varsity and has covered Nebraska athletics for the magazine and web since 2012, Hail Varsity’s first season on the scene. His sports writing has also been featured by Fox Sports, The Guardian and CBS Sports.
