Hail Varsity is able to confirm that offensive lineman Chris Walker has verbally committed to Nebraska. The 6-6, 275 pound Lincoln, Nebraska, native originally committed to Wyoming back in November, but flipped his decision Monday afternoon.
It was a quick turnaround for Walker, who received his offer from Nebraska on Jan. 6. As a result, he officially visited this past weekend before deciding Nebraska was where he wanted to be.
Walker had an impressive senior year at Lincoln East, where he earned first team all-state honors and helped lead the Spartans to a 7-4 record and the Class A semifinals.
