Tuesday night, 4-star wide receiver Isaah Crocker announced via Twitter that he would be in Lincoln on Sept. 2 for the season opener against Arkansas State for his official visit.

I’ve officially put my prediction in for the No. 9 Greg’s Guy to end up committing to Nebraska.
The wideout from Inderkum High School in Sacramento, California, has a very good offer list with Oregon and Oregon State thought to be the main competition. Things seem to have really picked up between Crocker and Nebraska over the last month or so.
There has definitely been a difference since 4-star wide receiver Manuel Allen left the class and committed to Louisville. Crocker and wide receiver coach Keith Williams have a great relationship.
When you watch Crocker on film, his speed jumps out to you and allows him to get open easily. He has a great frame (6-1, 175) that will be helped a great deal by being in a college strength and conditioning program.
In speaking with people close to Crocker, they believe there is a chance he gets blown away by his visit to Nebraska and will want to commit. He would be a welcome addition to the Huskers' class and it’s a great sign that he made a point to get to Lincoln in week one.

Greg is the Recruiting Analyst for Hail Varsity and has covered Husker athletics since 2013. He has always had a passion for sports while growing up in the Chicago area. As he got older and had to hang up his cleats and sneakers, he realized his passion for sports went beyond just watching and attending games. He has covered many events from the Rose Bowl to championship boxing matches. If he’s not talking sports, he’s hovering over his grill. He is married to an amazing woman, Kim, and they have a dog that barks when Greg yells at the TV during games.
