The 2021 class just got kicked off for Nebraska.
RJ Sorensen, defensive end from Florida, announced on Twitter that he was committing to the Huskers.
The pass-rushing defensive end stands at 6-foot-4, 230-pounds. He attends the University School in Fort Lauderdale. Sorensen has been to campus once before. He attended the Friday Night Lights camp and Big Red BBQ on June 21.

Sorensen may be from Florida but he does have family ties to Nebraska. His dad grew up in Omaha and his grandfather still lives there. The first commit of the 2021 class is also friends with Santino Marucci, one of the Huskers’ 2021 quarterback targets. They were teammates previously.
Sorensen also held early offers from Colorado and Rutgers. The defender has been able to build a good relationship with defensive line coach Tony Tuioti.
More to come on the newest Husker commitment.
