Last weeks game against Cuero was a pretty big pill to swallow, especially it being one of the biggest rivalry games being played in the state of Texas. The outcome wasn't what we wanted, but over the years I've come to realize that it's never how you start but always how you finish.
Last year, my team and I faced a lot of adversity throughout the season but we overcame it and made a state championship appearance, something my high school has not done since 1952. The odds were stacked against us then, and they are definitely up against us now as we look to make it back once again.
We had positive things happen all throughout the game and we also had negative things happen eventually, leading up to them taking the lead 7-0. Being the competitor that I am I couldn't stand to see my team down. Our defense came up with a huge stop on third down they realized they couldn't convert on fourth down so they decided to punt it to me. Mind you that their coaches had evaluated our film from the week before, so they were able to see our plays and the defense we ran which means they saw that I had a 93-yard punt return for a touchdown.
But I guess they figured it was just luck so they decided to punt it to me anyway and of course I made them regret doing that as I returned the punt for 95 yards to the house to tie the score.
This dude @_TheJoshuaMoore did it again.

We eventually ended up losing the game and are now 1-1. But like I said before it's never how you start but always how you finish.
