Be on the lookout for an official visitor from Florida this fall.
Defensive end/outside linebacker Emmanuel Belgrave from Southridge High School in Miami, Florida, has had a busy spring working on his game. The hybrid defender has been working to make his hands more violent and getting off the ball faster. Last month the Huskers offered a scholarship.

Belgrave gave me his thoughts on picking up the offer from the Big Ten school.
“I was excited to see that the coaches watched my film and liked me,” Belgrave said.
Nebraska is recruiting him for their hybrid outside linebacker position even though he has mostly played defensive end in high school. He thinks he’d be ready for the challenge though, telling me he “can play anything.”
Belgrave has taken a couple of trips in-state trips this spring to South Florida and Florida International, but he doesn’t have any more trips planned for the spring or summer. However, he does say that he will be taking an official visit to Lincoln and knows what he’s looking for in a school.
“Yes, I’m going to take an official visit and I’m looking for the family type of team and energy that they bring,” Belgrave said. “Plus, I want a criminal justice major too.”
Belgrave only holds a handful of offers now but it wouldn’t be surprising to see him be another player Nebraska is in on early that blows up down the road.
