Florida Pass Rusher Confirms Official Visit to Nebraska

October 22, 2019

The Huskers have a Florida pass-rusher on the way for an official visit.

Pahokee High School star defensive end/outside linebacker Latarie Kinsler‍  has told Hail Varsity that he will be taking an official visit to Nebraska this weekend for the matchup with Indiana.

Kinsler, who stands at 6-foot-2, 204-pounds is a pass rush specialist racking up 23 sacks his junior season. He has a similar body type to current Huskers outside linebacker Caleb Tannor. Kinsler was part of Louisville’s recruiting class but left their class when Scott Satterfield and his staff took over the program.

The 3-star (HV Rating: 89.0) Florida edge rusher has been back at Louisville since then, having taken an official visit on Oct. 4. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Kinsler make a decision relatively soon since he did also say he will enroll at his school of choice in January.

Nebraska currently sits at 14 commitments. There are a pair of linebackers in the class already. Alabama inside linebacker Rodney Groce and Iowa outside linebacker Blaise Gunnerson have committed to the Huskers. Kinsler would be a different type of linebacker that is also needed in this class.

Kinsler holds close to 30 scholarship offers. He also took an official visit to Syracuse in June.
