This weekend Nebraska took down Illinois 28-6 in a rare Friday night game for the Huskers. The unique day for the game this week allowed Nebraska’s staff to make trips to see some of its top targets after starting off 2-0 in Big Ten play.
On Saturday night members of the Nebraska coaching staff went to see Hazelwood Central safety Dallas Craddieth, a 3-star prospect. The St. Louis-area player picked off a pass to send the game to overtime, then intercepted a pass on the first drive of overtime to set up his team for the game-winning touchdown.
Also on Saturday night Keith Williams and Donte Williams went to IMG Academy in Florida to check out Brendan Radley-Hiles, TJ Pledger, Brian Hightower and Houston Griffith. IMG shutout Northwestern High School from Miami, 21-0.
Husker targets all over the country made some really impressive plays in their games this week. Check out this touchdown catch from 4-star WR and Wisconsin game visitor, Tommy Bush.

Four-star athlete Talanoa Hufanga projects as a safety in college but there is a reason he is listed as a true athlete. In fact, many consider him the No. 1 athlete in high school football right now. Here he is taking a reverse to the house and looking like a natural runner.

With Keith Williams in attendance, Hightower showed out in his game for IMG. The Miami commit showed some impressive concentration on this touchdown catch.

Now the monster recruiting weekend is upon us. We have been building to Wisconsin week and knew Nebraska would go all out bringing visitors. There will be updates all week but here’s what I know so far about who will be on campus. I’ve reported previously that 2018 commits Cameron Jurgens and Masry Mapieu would be at every game so expect to see them. Wide receiver commit Joshua Moore is on the official visitor list along with 4-star defensive back commit Chase Williams. It’s been long rumored that this will be the game Radley-Hiles attends and I have confirmed with him that he will be attending the game for his official visit.
Speaking of Bookie, there are rumors that he will attend the Wisconsin game with a pair of IMG teammates. I can confirm that everyone’s favorite running back prospect and Oklahoma commit, TJ Pledger, is scheduled to be making the trip from IMG for an official visit. I can also confirm that IMG teammate Hightower is also scheduled to make the trip for an official visit.
Five-star outside linebacker Micah Parsons will be in Lincoln for the weekend with his parents. It is now believed to be a two-team race between Nebraska and Penn State for his college choice. Parsons is likely the number one overall player on Nebraska’s big board and for good reason. The Huskers have a great opportunity to impress his parents, which would go a long way to getting Parsons in a Blackshirt.
Buckle up everyone, this is going to be a fun week.
