The Big Red recruiting machine is continuing to roll. Even for last year's class.
On Tuesday, Nebraska picked up a commitment at a position of need. Cornerback Will Jackson (6-3, 185), a 2018 prospect from Mesa Community College in Mesa, Arizona, announced he was joining the Huskers Tuesday afternoon.

While the commitment was a surprise to many, it quickly became a good surprise when Hail Varsity reported that he would be immediately eligible this fall. Adding Jackson to the cornerback room fills a huge need as the Huskers were looking heavily into adding a graduate transfer at the position.
Mesa’s defensive coordinator Chenelle Jones didn’t want to speak too much about it until Jackson had a chance to, but did confirm that he has graduated. He did say that Jackson is a great young man who they think is special and has the chance to be great at the Division I level.
Jackson originally committed to Kentucky out of high school in February of 2015. We will have more on this developing story throughout the day.
