It has been over a month since Nebraska picked up a commitment in the 2019 recruiting class. On Monday, the streak ended when 3-star running back (HV rating: 82.8) Thomas Grayson joined the class with this tweet.

Grayson, from Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, became the fourth member of the 2019 class and the first player from out of state to join the class. He joins Norfolk Catholic lineman Ethan Piper, Scottsbluff defensive end Garrett Nelson and York athlete Garrett Snodgrass as the commits in the class.
The courtship between Nebraska and Grayson wasn’t a long one as Nebraska offered him on March 31, he visited last weekend for junior day and he committed on Monday evening. Last season, Grayson rushed for 1,332 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Expect Nebraska to take at least one more running back in the 2019 class. Keep it locked on HailVarsity.com for a full interview with Grayson later following his commitment.
