Nebraska got some good news right before kickoff of the Ohio State game as 2021 Elkhorn South offensive lineman Teddy Prochazka committed to the Huskers. Prochazka is rated as a 4-star prospect (Hail Varsity Composite: 90.5).

Prochazka was a coveted prospect, particularly in Big Ten circles. He had offers from Iowa, Michigan and Northwestern in addition to Iowa State and Arizona State. Prochazka has been around the Nebraska program often in recent months. He visited for the spring and game and also took part in Nebraska’s first O-Line/D-Line camp this summer.
“I want a good connection with the offensive line coach. I want a good connection with the team itself before I make a decision,” Prochazka said this summer of what he was looking for in a school. “Really the entire coaching staff at the school.”
He is the second commitment for the 2021 class, joining Florida defensive end RJ Sorensen. Nebraska hopes to keep the talented group of in-state 2021 prospects from leaving the state for college football.
More to come throughout the weekend on this big commitment.
