Nebraska added more speed to the team today.
On Wednesday, Nebraska added 3-star wide receiver Andre Hunt (6-0, 175) from Paraclete High School in Lancaster, California. The speedy pass-catcher was a favorite of Nebraska offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach Troy Walters. Hunt announced his decision live on Fox Sports West.
The Huskers beat out Oregon State and San Diego State to win Hunt’s signature. He took official visits to both of those schools but the visit to Nebraska on the final weekend before signing day put things over the top for him.
Nebraska will likely try to line Hunt up at different spots on the field and perhaps even motion him into the backfield to get him involved in the run game. At one point, Hunt was part of the USC recruiting class before they parted ways. Hunt had double-digit offers including Utah, Washington State and Fresno State.
