Joshua Moore on His Nebraska Visit, the Future and More

October 13, 2017

This past weekend was a pretty good weekend for my family and I. It was great to be back in the 402 again. This particular visit was a little different than the other three visits I’ve been on to Nebraska simply because it was an official visit which means the university goes more in-depth with what they have to offer.

I saw things I didn’t have the opportunity to see on my unofficial visit. For example, I got to eat breakfast at President Hank Bounds' house, I got to see Coach Riley’s house as well. My mom and my little sister came with me this time. It was my sister’s first time in Lincoln and my mother’s second time and they both loved it.

I think the thing that caught their attention the most was the atmosphere, but of course that was nothing new to me because I’ve witnessed it before. I can definitely remember my first time in Memorial Stadium and man that was a wonderful sight to see.

This was my first-time meeting President Bounds, we talked for almost an hour after breakfast about my future and what I wanted to do with life after football. He was a very genuine and understanding guy that really understood what I was telling him which made it easy for he and I to communicate.

My future is very important to me. This opportunity that I have in front of me is an opportunity that I will take complete advantage of. Where I’m from we don’t usually get these opportunities to play at the next level and hopefully the level after that so I’m taking everything into consideration right now to make sure that I get to where I want to get to in this life that I’m living.

There have been a lot of people talking on social media about me flipping my commitment to Florida State or Alabama. That goes back to me making the right decision for me and my future.

As I said before, I only get this opportunity once and I will take complete advantage of it.
