Wide receiver Kade Warner accepted his preferred walk-on offer to Nebraska Thursday evening. He selected the Huskers over his home state school, Arizona State. Warner made the announcement via Twitter.

Warner spoke with Hail Varsity last week about looking for the ‘best fit’ in his future school. He also discussed his visit to Nebraska on Sunday on Hail Varsity Premium.
Before visiting Nebraska, Warner told Hail Varsity that he was looking for a place where he’d fit in.
“I’m not going to a school for a scholarship,” Warner said. “I’m going for the best fit for me.”
