Noa was Cal’s leading returning receiver for 2019 after a productive career as a Golden Bear. From 2016 to 2018, he reeled in 94 passes for 1,224 yards and six touchdowns. He suffered an undisclosed lower body injury in the middle of the 2018 season but returned for Cal’s Cheez-It Bowl appearance. Before his injury, he had 28 catches for 326 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Cal has now lost three wideouts to transfer from the 2018 team. The former 3-star recruit from Honolulu, Hawaii, is the second member of Cal’s team from last season to join the Huskers. He also follows defensive line coach Tony Tuioti, who coached for Cal during the 2017 and 2018 seasons.
Noa will be immediately eligible as a graduate transfer. He also gives Nebraska 82 players on scholarship for the 2019 season.
