On Saturday, Nebraska added another walk-on to the 2019 group. Lincoln Southwest kicker Dylan Jorgensen made it official when tweeted the news during the pre-game festivities ahead of the matchup with Minnesota.

So far on the season, Jorgensen is 6-for-9 on field goals with a long of 47 and 28-for-28 on PATs. Jorgensen is a key special-teams player for the Silver Hawks, who go into the Class A state playoffs with a 7-2 record.
He also is averaging 35.5 yards per punt.
Jorgensen becomes the second specialist to join the 2019 Huskers walk-on class. Grant Detlefsen from Lincoln Southeast joined as a punter last month. Nebraska also has pledges to walk on from offensive linemen Matt Huser and Riley Moses, as well as defensive back Cam Kleinschmidt.
