Earlier this high school football season, Huskers 4-star running back commit Rahmir Johnson and Bergen Catholic played a game against Grayson High School in Georgia.
Grayson features 5-star linebacker Owen Pappoe who committed to Auburn and visited Nebraska, keeping the Huskers in his final group until he decided on the Tigers. Grayson is also the home of 4-star running back commit Ronald Thompkins and a host of other big-time college prospects.
Hudl has brought back it’s ‘Contenders’ series and released part one today which previewed the mega matchup between the two powerhouse programs. Husker fans will surely want to check it out to see Johnson, but this is also a really cool glimpse into a growing trend of national high school football matchups.
