Recruiting never stops and it's easy to miss the top stories day-to-day. Recruiting analyst Greg Smith recaps all things Nebraska recruiting news, analysis and more so you never miss a thing.
Last year, Nebraska didn’t have a single commit or signee playing in the U.S. All-American Bowl. This year, things have changed as the Huskers had four players selected to play in the game. Athlete Wandale Robinson, defensive end Ty Robinson, offensive tackle Bryce Benhart and linebacker Nick Henrich were all selected to play in the game. Henrich didn’t make the trip to San Antonio to continue rehabbing his knee.
Nebraska also has one target in the game: 4-star defensive back Noa Pola-Gates. Keep in mind that Pola-Gates will not be announcing his decision at the game but instead will make his declaration Jan. 19 at the Polynesian Bowl. According to Robinson, the trio of future Huskers are in the ear of Pola-Gates about Nebraska.
With the return of Nebraska players to this game, the team has a cool opportunity to grab a little national spotlight. It does seem like the guys are representing the Huskers quite a bit so far down in San Antonio.

It’s great that Nebraska has players in the game. It’s never a bad thing for your program to be mentioned at one of these big showcase events. Now, if a couple of them can make some plays during the game? That would be icing on the cake.
You’ll be able to check out the future Huskers in action Saturday, Jan. 5 at 12 p.m. CT on NBC.
