The Huskers are getting defensive with visitors over the next couple of days.
Hail Varsity has learned that Nebraska will be hosting a pair of pass rushers in the coming days. First, the Huskers will get their shot at hosting 2020 defensive end Regen Terry out of Florence, Arizona, on Thursday. Terry stands at 6-foot-4 and 225 pounds. He told me that he plans to go to multiple schools in the region for visits, including Iowa State and Kansas State.
Terry currently has 11 offers to his name and also took a visit to Cal recently.

The other pass-rushing visitor that will be back in Lincoln this weekend is Travion Ford. He is a 2021 outside linebacker/defensive end from St. Louis.

This trip marks Ford’s third visit to Lincoln in less than a year. Ford is not only one of the top players in the region in next year’s class but he figures to be one of the best defensive prospects in the country. He does not lack for options, holding offers from Alabama, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma and many others. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Ford as a 5-star.
The Huskers obviously want to produce better results recruiting in St. Louis and getting Ford on campus so many times this early is a great sign that they will be in his recruitment until the end.

Greg is the Recruiting Analyst for Hail Varsity and has covered Husker athletics since 2013. He has always had a passion for sports while growing up in the Chicago area. As he got older and had to hang up his cleats and sneakers, he realized his passion for sports went beyond just watching and attending games. He has covered many events from the Rose Bowl to championship boxing matches. If he’s not talking sports, he’s hovering over his grill. He is married to an amazing woman, Kim, and they have a dog that barks when Greg yells at the TV during games.
