Looking back on the 2018 class, a number of players that ended up in Nebraska’s recruiting class were committed to other programs before ending up in Lincoln. That included Adrian Martinez, Caleb Tannor, Cam Jones and Andre Hunt. All were part of another school’s class at some point during the cycle.
Nebraska’s staff has experience flipping players but we haven’t seen any committed prospects pop up in Lincoln so far this season. That is until now.
I’ve confirmed that Ole Miss 3-star (HV Rating: 86.4) offensive line commit Jeremy James from North Forsyth High School in Cumming, Georgia, will be in Lincoln for an official visit this weekend. His family will be joining him on the trip.
James committed to Ole Miss back in June but Nebraska did not really take him off of its board and continued to talk with him frequently. The lineman from the Peach State has versatility to play tackle or guard at the college level.
Stay tuned to Hail Varsity for an update on how his visit went after the game.
