First, it’s worth noting that while CB Tony Wallace was set to visit, he did not end up making the trip to Lincoln. He is committed to Arizona and is expected to sign his letter of intent with the Wildcats on Wednesday.
Tyjon Lindsey
Since committing to Nebraska on Jan. 14, wide receiver Tyjon Lindsey has quickly become the Huskers biggest fan. He highlighted his whole visit via Twitter, sharing where he ate and photos from his tour of Memorial Stadium. It clearly left an impression.
By the end of the weekend, Lindsey told Hail Varsity he had “fun indeed” and that he wished he could have stayed for Nebraska basketball’s matchup with Purdue. He was clear that he loved everything about the Huskers and that he has found his home.

At this point, Lindsey has taken over as the class’ biggest recruiter and is doing all that he can to get other Nebraska prospects to commit. Will he prove to be successful? Time will tell.
Michael Onyemaobi
Athlete Michael Onyemaobi decommitted from Cal almost two weeks ago, while the Huskers were at his home for a recruiting visit. He spoke with Hail Varsity prior to decommitting and said from the get-go that Nebraska “felt like family.” Making his final visit of the recruiting cycle, Onyemaobi made his was to Lincoln where he appeared to have a great time.

Onyemaobi told Hail Varsity the trip was “incredible.” Everything he felt about Nebraska before still stands, and he even had a chance to get to know Lindsey pretty well over the weekend. By the end, Lindsey was heavily recruiting Onyemaobi to choose the Huskers. A series of tweets highlighted just that.

As for what the future holds, Onyemaobi will be announcing his decision on Wednesday. He appears to be a Nebraska lean, but keep an eye on TCU to potentially snag him away.
