Nebraska’s already gained a preferred walk-on to its 2024 recruiting class.
Nico Ottomanelli, a kicker and punter out of Old Tappan, New Jersey, announced his pledge to the Huskers’ upcoming recruiting class on Thursday. He visited Nebraska in the spring and competed at the specialist camp earlier this month.

Nebraska’s already gained a kicker and punter on scholarship since Matt Rhule’s arrival as head coach. The Huskers added Omaha Westside graduate Tristan Alvano in the 2023 class and Kamdyn Koch, son of Husker legend Sam Koch, committed to punt at Nebraska as part of the 2024 class earlier this month.
